Jingtian & Gongcheng’s international trade regulation practice involves representation of clients to petition for or respond to antidumping investigations, countervailing investigations and safeguard investigations, and to respond to export controls, section 337 investigations, foreign sanctions, multilateral institution sanctions, etc.

Jingtian & Gongcheng represents Chinese domestic industries in petitioning for antidumping, countervailing investigations and other trade remedies, and also foreign enterprises in their responses to such trade remedy investigations. More frequently, Jingtian & Gongcheng represents Chinese enterprises in their responses to antidumping, countervailing and other trade remedy investigations initiated by the authorities of EU, US, Canada, Australia, India, Brazil, Mexico and other economies.

Jingtian & Gongcheng represents Chinese and foreign clients in responding to US section 337 investigations, which may lead to general or specific exclusion of imports of relevant products from relevant countries or enterprises, a very serious consequence.

Jingtian & Gongcheng represents Chinese and foreign clients in coping with export control measures, by the United States and other countries. Jingtian & Gongcheng also represents Chinese and foreign clients in responding to investigations and sanctions by the United States and other countries. Jingtian & Gongcheng further represents Chinese and foreign clients in responding to investigations and sanctions by the World Bank and other multilateral institutions.
