Mr. Tao Yang joined Jingtian & Gongcheng Law firm in 2020 as a partner. Before joining J&G, Mr. Yang worked in Jiangsu FD Yongheng Law Firm for 15 years and served as a partner, deputy director, a member of the management committee, and head of the real estate committee.

Mr. Yang specializes in commercial dispute resolution, particularly concerning real estate development, infrastructure construction, real estate Finance, real estate M&A and reorganization. Mr. Yang has served many leading real estate companies for a long time, including China Merchants, Poly, CR Land, China Overseas Land, COFCO, Gezhouba Group and other well-known real estate companies, and has provided special legal services on many real estate development projects.

In the field of corporate compliance and risk control system construction, Mr. Yang served as the special legal consultant for Jiangsu Mobile on the comprehensive legal risk prevention and control system construction project in 2007, and completed the establishment of the first comprehensive legal risk prevention and control system of China Mobile in Jiangsu Province. Since then, this system has been implemented by AVIC Qingdong Company, Dongfeng Yueda Kia, CLP Panda, and Yincheng Group.

In 2017 Mr. Yang was awarded as the best lawyer in the field of construction and real estate by Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Justice. Meanwhile he was selected as a legal consultant of the Standing Committee of the Nanjing Municipal People's Congress in 2018 and provided legislative suggestions for the local People's Congress.
