Ms. Quan Wei graduated from Peking University Law Scholl with bachelor’s degree in 2008 and obtained LLM degree from New York University School of Law in 2015.
Ms. Quan has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2010 and was approved to be a partner by the firm in 2020.
Ms. Quan specializes in securities, funds and PE, M&A, enterprises’ reorganization, restructure, foreign investment, general corporate, intellectual property and entertainment law.
In the area of capital market, Ms. Quan has represented several companies in their overseas or domestic listing and M&A projects, including Tenfu, Chow Tai Fook, 360 Security, etc.
Ms. Quan also has extensive experience in the area of M&A and PE financing. She has provided a wide range of legal services for investors and listed companies to carry out M&A or PE investment transactions, including conducting due diligence, designing transaction structure, participating in negotiation, drafting legal documents and issuing legal opinions. Her clients include famous companies such as CITIC PE, Ping’An Trust, China Orient Asset Management Co., Ltd., China International Co., Ltd., Jianyin Investment, Challengers Fund, 360 Security, CJ Group, etc.
In the area of intellectual property and entertainment law, Ms. Quan provides legal services to music A&R, production and publishing companies like Universal Music Publishing, Universal Production Publishing Music, Bravo Music etc., and represented Perfect Youth OST (one of top OST companies) on dozens of OST production and distribution projects. Ms. Quan also provided whole process services to several movies, including Send Me to the Clouds, Back to the Wharf, etc.
Ms. Quan passed PRC bar examination in 2008, and passed New York State bar examination in 2015.
