On February 22, ALB, affiliated to Thomson Reuters, published the list of “ALB 2018 Top 15 China Litigators”. Dong Chungang, partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng was among the list.

 

Mr. Dong is partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng. He is qualified to practice in China and the United States of America (New York). Mr. Dong holds a Bachelor of Arts (English Language and Law) and a Master of Laws from China University of Political Science and Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM in American Law) from Boston University. Before joining the firm, Mr. Dong worked in the Foreign –Related Arbitration Division of CIETAC for three years.

 

Mr. Dong 's practice area is dispute resolution. Since 2011, he has been continuously evaluated by Chambers and other legal rating agencies as the leading lawyer in the field of dispute resolution in China. In 2016 and 2017, he was ranked as one of the 100 top lawyers in China by China Business Law Journal.

 

Mr. Dong has represented clients in hundreds of lawsuits before all levels of PRC courts including the Supreme People's Court of China and the Higher People’s Court of Beijing, as well as CIETAC, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, etc., which involved a variety of substantive areas such as trade, investment, real estate, finance, insurance, energy, technology, product liability, building materials and logistics.
