Chen Lu graduated from Fudan University Faculty of Law with Bachelor of Law and Shanghai Institute for International Studies with LL.M.

Before joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, Mr. Lu worked as a lawyer at Jun He Shanghai Law Office (1994-1995) and Shanghai United Law Office (1996-1998).  In 1998, he joined Jingtian & Gongcheng as a partner.

Mr. Lu specializes in securities, capital market, mergers and acquisitions.

In the areas of securities and capital market, Mr. Lu has presented many famous companies in listing of A share, H share or S share, including Qingdao Haier Inc., China Shipping Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd., Hainan Airlines Company Limited, Inner Mongolia Eerduosi Cashmere Products Co., Ltd., Shenergy Company Limited, Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, SRE Group, Zhong An Real Estate Limited, China New Town Development Limited, Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited (Hong Kong).

In the area of mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Lu has represented investors from Hong Kong and Singapore in many M & A transactions.  His legal services cover a wide range of aspects, including conducting due diligence, designing trading structure, joining negotiation, drafting legal documents, providing legal opinions, etc.

Mr Lu obtained the PRC lawyer's qualification certificate in 1996.  He is a native mandarin speaker with English fluency.
