Mrs. Hong Diao graduated from Southwest University of Political Science in 2004 with an LLB degree and obtained an LL.M. degree from Sichuan university in 2007. In 2011, Mrs. Diao finished her study at wealth management and capital operation training class in Southwest University of Finance and Economics.

Mrs. Diao started her legal profession in Sichuan Yingji Law Firm from 2001 to 2007, as the Manager of International Affairs Department. From 2007 to 2012, as one of the founders, Mrs. Diao worked in Sichuan Young Keen & Hua Law Firm respectively as a senior partner. From June 2012, Mrs. Diao joined Jingtian & Gongcheng as a senior partner.

Mrs. Diao specializes in Foreign Direct Investment, Overseas Investment, Real Estate, Banking and Finance, M&A and Restructuring, Private Equity and Venture Capital, and Dispute Resolution.

Mrs. Diao also accepted few positions in other organizations, such as special committee member of Sichuan CPPCC Economic Commission, deputy director of The Sichuan Legal Committee of  Chinese Zhi Gong Party, Special supervisor against corruption and mediator invited by Sichuan Provincial Higher People's Court, deputy director of International Legal Affairs Committee of Chengdu Bar Association, vice president of Lawyer’s New Social Stratum Association in Chengdu Jinjiang District.

Mrs. Diao was admitted to the PRC bar in 2001.

Mrs. Diao is a mandarin speaker with in English fluency.
