On February 22, 2017, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Pacific Andes US$ 1.5 billion insolvency project won “Restructuring & Insolvency” award on the Asia Legal Award ceremony by ALM.

ALM is a renowned legal media group. The Asia Legal Awards is organized by The Asian Lawyer, China Law & Practice, The American Lawyer, Legal Week in the ALM Group. Since 2014, the award is given once a year, and is the recognized authoritative professional legal awards in the business.

Pacific Andes is one of the largest seafood companies in the world. It was founded in 1986, listed on the Main Board of HKEX in 1994, providing premium frozen seafood for wholesalers, processers, food companies and retailers around the world. Its business covers fishing, procuring, processing, inspection and distribution.

In Pacific Andes’ US$ 1.5 billion insolvency deal, Jingtian & Gongcheng provides PRC legal support for the verification of assets and debts of mainland subsidiaries of Pacific Andes Group.
